16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence
As we commence the 2023 #16DaysofActivismAgainstGenderBasedViolence with the theme “UNITE! Invest to Prevent Violence against Women & Girls”, we underscore not just the urgency of safety but the fundamental demand for equality, recognizing that one cannot be truly achieved without the other.
Over the past years, by partnering with agencies and organizations our collective efforts have seen the implementation of crucial legislative frameworks that establish a foundation for a safer and more equitable society. These laws are beacons signalling a commitment to dismantling the structures that enable gender-based violence.
As we embark on the 2023 #16DaysOfActivism, my hope for the future transcends the victories of the past. Our dream is not merely legal protection but a societal paradigm shift where safety and equality are inseparable and become an unwavering norm.
