World Malaria Day

On this significant occasion of World Malaria Day, I stand at the forefront of the battle against one of the world’s oldest and deadliest diseases – malaria. With the theme “Accelerate the fight against malaria,” this year’s theme resonates with a resounding call to action, urging communities to come together in solidarity against this preventable and treatable disease.
While recognizing the devastating impact of malaria on vulnerable populations, especially women and children, I would like to emphasize the role of education and sustained commitment in achieving malaria elimination. I call for collaborative partnerships between government, healthcare professionals, NGOs, and individuals to intensify efforts and accelerate progress toward a malaria-free society.
Together, we can accelerate the fight against malaria and build a healthier, malaria-free world for generations to come.
