ARMED FORCES REMEMBRANCE DAY 2023
On January 15, 2023, my husband HE Hope Uzodimma and I along wth several Imolites gathered at Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu Square Owerri to commemorate the 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
At the wonderful occasion, my husband along with top Government functionaries had the pleasure of laying the wreaths, while prayers were rendered by religious leaders. A one-minute silence was held in honour of the fallen heroes and pigeons were released as a symbol of peace, among other colorful activities to grace the occasion.
Thereafter, we celebrated the bravery of our heroes in fighting for the great future of our nation and the endeavors of the Government in maintaining the peace that creates a future that honours their sacrifices.
As each member of the Shared Prosperity @govtofimostate continues to actively and diligently serve the people of our State, one day at a time, we remain optimistic that the future we all dream about would one day be a reality.
