Break The Bias Campaign: International Women’s Day, 2022
Our women are constantly challenging the status quo, but why should they keep fighting against limitations based on their gender? How long will it take for equality to become the norm in our civilization? Today, I, as well as individuals and organizations around the world, celebrate #InternationalWomensDay to highlight the need for gender equality.
Many young women around the world are at the forefront of societal issues, yet they are continually discriminated against. In honor of, #InternationalWomensDay2022 as you take a moment to appreciate the women in your life, know that every one of them, among others, deserves a sustainable and peaceful future with equal rights and opportunities.
Gloria Steinem once explained, “The story of women’s struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor any one organization but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights.” Therefore, our collective action and raised voices on societal issues are the very essence of creating an equal and inclusive future.
We need women at every table where decisions are being made because when women lead, positive results are seen. Regardless of who we are or where we are at, you can join this global movement by striking and sharing the #BreakTheBias pose as a demonstrative sign protesting all forms of bias, intimidation, stereotypes, and violence against women.
