Celebrating World Autism Awareness Day

Celebrating World Autism Awareness Day

I join the global community in commemorating World Autism Awareness Day to celebrate the diversity and uniqueness of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We commemorate this day under the theme “Moving from Surviving to Thriving,” as we embark on a journey of understanding and empowerment.

This year, various organizations seek to amplify the voices and experiences of autistic individuals and reflect on the importance of embracing neurodiversity and recognizing the strengths and talents of individuals with autism.

Our commitment to this cause will urge us to move from mere awareness to meaningful action, ensuring that every autistic individual around us in Imo State and beyond has the opportunity to live a fulfilling and empowered life.
