Courtesy Call by Executive members of the International Federation of Female Lawyers (FIDA)
Executive members and some members of the International Federation of Female Lawyers (FIDA), were led by the State chairperson, His worship Joy Nwosu Azuama, on a courtesy visit to my office on October 4, 2023.
I was deeply grateful for the opportunity to meet with them and expressed my appreciation. I further commended her for her kind words regarding the positive impact the Shared Administration has made in the State, including support for their organization and the August meeting empowerment initiative, which benefited some of their members.
During our meeting, we addressed the pressing issue of domestic violence and sexual harassment in the State, seeking ways to reduce and manage these alarming concerns. She shared details about their upcoming International Conference in March 2024, to be held in New York.
I took a moment to appreciate their visit and my excitement about working together with the new executives in our continued collaboration with FIDA.
