Digital Skill Empowerment Program, 2022: Individuals With Physical Diabilities Were Rewarded

At the Special Needs Department Hall on Tuesday, April 26th, 2022, thirty individuals with physical disabilities studying in Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education (AIFCE), Owerri, were kindly rewarded for their participation in the 2022 Digital Skill Empowerment Program.

The Commissioner for Women Affairs and Vulnerable Group, Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu, and the Director of Rehabilitation in the Ministry, Mrs. Adaobi Emelumba among others who represented me gifted bags of rice and cash donations to encourage the special citizens to remain committed in their academics. We strongly believe their disability does not limit them nor define their future.

For endeavoring to take up the rigorous task of encouraging and improving their wellbeing, I commend the organizers of the empowerment program; the Director of Rehabilitation Center, Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus, Rev. Sr. Mercy A. Ibeawuchi, and the Head of Special Needs Department, AIFCE, Dr. Mrs. Uloaku Okoro, amongst others. May God Almighty reward everyone helping out for their compassion.
