Easter Celebration 2023
I join fellow Christians all over the world to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Today’s remembrance celebrates the liberation of mankind from the captivity of sin through the death of our Lord Jesus. A death that paved the way for us and a resurrection that grants us access to inherit eternal salvation.
Through that sacrifice, we were given freedom that extends grace, shields, blesses, and encompasses us with overwhelming love. As Christians, we do not take any of it for granted instead we walk in a renewed boldness that makes us conscious of the lives we live and how we relate with our fellow neighbors.
Therefore, as we gather with our loved ones to celebrate Easter, we are urged to reflect on His uncommon love for us by remaining steadfast and behaving Christ-like wherever we are. I pray that the spirit of love, peace, sacrifice, and selflessness spreading throughout this season continues to guide us, our families and our Imo State as we await His return. Amen.
