Imo First Lady receives members of the Federal University of Technology Owerri Women Association (FUTOWA)

The Federal University of Technology Owerri Women Association (FUTOWA) is a women’s organization consisting of FUTO female workers and wives of male workers that have consistently collaborated with the ruling administration to share ideas and advance the status of women in their community.
Today, February 22, 2023, members of this organization of remarkable women visited my office under the leadership of their president, Dr. Mrs. Egejuru Eze, to express their appreciation for the State’s growth under the Shared Prosperity Administration and to further discuss a possible partnership.
The President listed the work they had done in her message, which included creating empowerment and awareness programs for women and girls at the school and the host communities, maintaining a clean campus, and building a 50-room female dormitory, some of which were already under construction.
I expressed my gratitude for their generosity to the less fortunate people around them and further urged them to strengthen their passion for service.
Hosting them was a true pleasure, and I was grateful that they made the effort to stop by.
Chief Barr. (Mrs.) Chioma Uzodimma.
