Imo State First Lady, HE Chioma Uzodimma at the official flag-off of the World Breast Feeding Week 2023
At the Imo State Primary Health Care Development Agency (ISPHCDA), I had the pleasure of flagging off the #WorldBreastfeedingWeek in Imo State. The event was a tribute to the nurturing mothers across Imo communities and dedicated to encouraging, supporting, and empowering those present.
We reminded them of the vital role breastfeeding plays in shaping healthy beginnings and encouraged them by having expert speakers dispel myths and offer guidance that I believe resonated deeply with their career aspirations and concerns.
The gathering was fantastic and at the end of it, we extended gifts to mothers and their babies. I once again extend my gratitude to the stakeholders, partners and other organizations who joined to make the event sensational.
