I had the pleasure of accompanying my beloved husband, the Governor of Imo State, HE Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma @he_hopeuzodimma, as a Guest of Honour at the presentation and launch of the insightful book titled, “The Journey of a Military Wife”, written by the remarkable wife of the Chief of Defence Staff and President, Defence & Police Officers’ Wives Association (DEPOWA) @depowahq, Barr. (Mrs.) Victoria Anwuli Irabor @vickieirabor at the Armed Forces Officers’ Mess, Asokoro in Abuja on May 24, 2023.
We can never be fully grateful to the courageous Nigerian Armed Forces who risk their lives daily in order to uphold our freedom and preserve our way of life. However, I am optimistic that this book will move, inspire, and enlighten the readers to always take the opportunity to applaud the strength of not just military personnel across our nation, but also their spouses who thrive amidst adversity for the greater good of our beloved country.
I commend the brilliant author, Barr. Vickie Irabor once again, and I am truly proud of the meticulous work she has done in bringing this story to life.
