In The Spirit Of Easter, H.E Barr. Chioma Uzodimma Extend Alms To Orphanage Homes Across The State
In order to extend the message of Christ’s love during this Easter period, my office and the Ministry of Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups have spent the last couple of days donating food items, clothes, and other necessaries to residents of the Umuneke Destitute Home, Ngor Okpala LGA, and several Orphanage Homes within the State.
This season of joyous celebrations reminds us that Christ sacrificed his life for us all, regardless of who we are in society. I hope the donations made would remind the recipients that the grace of God extends to them as well.
Hon. Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu, Commissioner for Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups, in her report, shared praiseworthy remarks about the recent activities and improvements made by the supervisors across these homes. My kudos go to the entire Management Staff at these Centers for their devotion to the well-being of the inmates and children.
I am proud of the exceptional steps taken to help our people and I guarantee that my office will continue to make donations to help support them.
