Thanksgiving Mass & Armed Forces Remembrance Day Service
We gathered at the Maria Assumpta Cathedral Owerri for a solemn Thanksgiving Mass ahead of the second-term Inauguration and Swearing-in Ceremonies of my husband, the Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope O. Uzodimma. It was an immense honour and a momentous occasion as it coincided with the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
The series of events holds great significance as we prepare for the next phase of Shared Prosperity in Imo State.
As we honour our fallen heroes, I pray that God rewards their dedication and selfless service. May He also comfort and console their grieving loved ones on this year’s Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
Our gratitude goes to the the Archbishop of Owerri Archdiocese, Most Rev. Lucius Iwejuru Ugorji, for his spiritual teachings today.
Afterwards, we held a banquet at Government House where we received distinguished guests and government functionaries in attendance.
I congratulate my dear husband, @he_hopeuzodimma, on this momentous journey. His relentless devotion and vision for progress are commendable. I am confident that under his leadership, Imo State will continue to thrive and flourish.
