Visit to the Inmates of the Nigeria Correctional Service, Owerri Custodial Centre, Imo State
In celebrating my new age and extending the blessings of the season, my team and I visited the inmates of the Nigeria Correctional Service, Owerri Custodial Centre, Imo State on December 15, 2023, to spread the love and warmth of the season.
As we gathered in the communal space, the inmates’ live band brought an infectious rhythm to the atmosphere and we danced and celebrated. I expressed my appreciation to them by providing the band with a thoughtful cash gift.
The highlight of the visit was the sharing of packs of food to all the inmates, the cutting and sharing of birthday cakes and the distribution of sanitary pads to female inmates. I extend my appreciation to the team at Union Bank @unionbankng for collaborating with us in the donation of the sanitary pads.
I pray that the joyful celebration of this season will continue into the new year and beyond.
