Women Optometrist in Nigeria Imo State Chapter
I had the pleasure of meeting with exceptional members of the Women Optometrists in Nigeria, representing the Imo Chapter, an affiliation of the Nigerian Optometrists Association whose core mission is to advance eye care, particularly for women and children at the grassroots level.
Dr. Amarachi Opara, the Chairwoman of this dedicated group, expressed her appreciation for the meeting and acknowledged my efforts in support of women, youth, and children in the state. She also shared insights into their remarkable humanitarian initiatives, highlighting their commitment to serving the community.
During our conversation, she informed me about their forthcoming Community Vision Screening Project, which aims to benefit five hundred women and girls. Witnessing these women, despite their busy schedules, extend acts of kindness to the less fortunate, filled me with joy.
I wholeheartedly commended them for their outstanding work and assured them of my steadfast support in continuing their noble endeavours. These endeavours allow us to collaboratively create a positive influence on the lives of those who require assistance.
