World Breastfeeding Week, 2022
As part of the #WorldBreastfeedingWeek2022 activities in Imo State, the Imo State Ministry of Health joined the Imo State Primary Health Care Development Agency (ISPHCDA) in a peaceful march to raise awareness in commemorating the global event.
Motherhood can be a daunting task, especially for new mothers, therefore, I urge us to continue to encourage, educate and support new mothers in our communities with necessary forms of assistance to make the journey easier.
Once again, I appreciate the courageous men and women who organized and came out today in solidarity with the movement.
