World Day of Social Justice 2023
The United Nations celebrates this year’s International Day of Social Justice under the theme “Overcoming Barriers and Unleashing Possibilities for Social Justice” in acknowledgment of the necessity for social justice to rectify injustices meted out to humanity.
To strengthen the social contract, which has been shattered by rising inequality, conflicts, and inadequate institutions tasked with protecting workers’ rights, this is intended to increase global solidarity and rebuild faith in the government.
This commemoration also encourages conversation with government representatives and other stakeholders on how they can improve reasonable work, boost productivity, and lessen the poverty rate.
We must recognize the necessity of creating a world devoid of pressing human problems if we are to establish a better one.
