World Mental Health Day, 2021!
Most of the world’s population has experienced a mental health issue at some point in their lives. Hence the need to inform, encourage, and raise awareness in order to reduce the stigma related to treating mental health.
Today, the 10th of October, we show our solidarity by recognising the movement #WorldMentalHealthDay that supports our brothers and sisters who struggle to articulate the mental issue they face. I hope we do not shame them when they speak up. Instead, we encourage them to seek professional help.
The slogan for this year’s campaign is, “Mental Health Care For All: Let’s Make It A Reality”. Let us break the chain of stigmatizing people who seek help for their mental health issues.
