World Tuberculosis Day, 2022!

Every 24th of March we celebrate #WorldTuberculosisDay to dispel myths about tuberculosis (TB), raise awareness of this deadly disease, and work towards ending this global epidemic.

Tuberculosis is one of the world’s deadliest infectious killers which can destroy the lungs, kidneys, spines, and brains if left untreated. However, with early diagnosis, medication, and treatment, it can be cured.

This year’s theme, “Invest to End TB. Save Lives.” emphasizes the need for Governments at all levels and Non-Governmental Organizations to make commitments and invest resources to ramp up the fight that ensures fair access to prevention and care is accessible to all. Spread the awareness, save a life.
