World Youth Skill Day 2021!
The importance of International Days lies in its ability to inform us about world problems and address them. Are you aware that in contrast to older adults, young people between the ages of 15-24 have been affected more severely by the COVID-19 crisis?
Every year on the 15th of July we celebrate World Youth Skills Day, the goal is to focus on celebrating the importance of equipping young people with skills for entrepreneurship. This awareness helps to ensure that they can receive affordable and high-quality education, which will aid them in their technical and vocational development.
This year’s theme, ‘Reimagining Youth Skills Post-Pandemic’, aims to pay tribute to the resilience and creativity of the youth as they have responded to the crisis and found ways to help the economy. There’s an ever-increasing importance to skills as the world shifts to a more sustainable model of development.
