World Youth Skills Day 2023
Today’s world demands a diverse range of skills to tackle emerging challenges and take advantage of new opportunities. Empowering youth with essential skills not only enhances their employability but also fosters innovation, entrepreneurship, and social progress.
Recognizing this, the United Nations commemorate the 2023 World Youth Skills Day with the theme “Skilling teachers, trainers and youth for a transformative future,” to focus on harnessing the power of skills to shape a prosperous and inclusive future for all.
Through collaboration and partnerships among educational institutions, private sector organizations, and civil society organizations, the Imo State Government has leveraged her collective resources, expertise, and networks to create a comprehensive ecosystem for skills development for youths across her communities.
As we mark this day, we continue to reaffirm our commitment to investing in youth skills and creating an enabling environment that unlocks their full potential. Together, we can build a brighter and more prosperous future for all.
