Celebration of Archdiocesan CWO Day

Celebration of Archdiocesan CWO Day

I was truly honoured to convene with members of the Owerri Archdiocesan Catholic Women Organization (OACWO) on the Archdiocesan CWO Day which was held on October 7, 2023, at Maria Assumpta Cathedral, Owerri. The event holds a special place in the hearts of Catholic Women as the inspiring celebration is a true honor of the spirit of unity and sisterhood among Catholic Women.

Today, we came together to not just celebrate ourselves, but to acknowledge the tremendous contributions Catholic Women make to the spiritual and social fabric of our archdiocese through their dedication to serving in parishes, communities, and families.

During the sermon, we were reminded of the importance of nurturing the faith for the next generation of Catholic Women and Men. We have a sacred duty to ensure that the flame of faith continues to burn brightly in the hearts of our children and grandchildren, so they may carry the torch of our legacy forward.

Thereafter, I was awarded “Nneoma Nwere Ugwu in Owerri Archdiocese”. I am truly grateful and I pray the good Lord continues to give us strength to continue profitable work across our communities and the church.
