Our continent encompasses a spectrum of experiences that highlight the grandeur of our African home, from breathtaking landscapes, diverse wildlife, and distinguishable ethnicities to a tapestry of long-standing customs. Living in Africa is a privilege that fills my heart with joy and gratitude.
Every day, we witness the resilience, creativity, and potential of our African children. Today, as we commemorate the 2023 Day of the African Child with the theme, “THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD IN THE DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT”, we are reminded of the importance of nurturing their dreams, investing, educating and providing them with opportunities to thrive in the digital world.
Our lives will be richly immeasurable when we commit ourselves to supporting our children on the changes happening in our ever-growing world while maintaining our ideals of justice and equality for they are the future leaders who will shape our continent’s destiny.
Happy Day of the African Child!
