Imo State First Lady, HE Chioma Uzodimma meets with members of the Women Leadership Institute to develop sustainable economic and development roadmap for Imo Women
A few weeks ago, I met with some members of the Women Leadership Institute to discuss ways we can develop a sustainable economic and development roadmap that will help Imo women transcend from the lower ebb of our economic ladder to a more financially independent platform.
On August 2, 2023, I had a follow-up with a delegation led by Mr Joseph Nwadibia who came to review certain proposed projects to aid the institute’s vision.
He shared the current plans including consulting with financial and technical partners to subsidize the rate of an Export License for 100 Imo Women so they join the global export market.
I applauded the organization for the initiative and I look forward to the impact this will have for Imo women. As we continue to make plans to ensure the program is well executed, my team will continue to monitor and assist the organization.
